Yes, mango nut butter is an emollient. Emollients trap moisture and lock it into the epidermis top layer of the skin. An emollient acts as a protectant from external environmental pathogenic factors while it also targets dry and sensitive areas on the skins surface. We have blended highly nutritious oils and essential oils to invigorate, plump, smooth and moisturize the skin, mango nut's emollient properties 'hold' the nutrition in place and allow it to work at the correct skin layer for a protracted period of time. Apply sparingly and if you find it takes time to be absorbed use it primarily as a deep moisturiser, allowing it time to be absorbed. In Polynesia its common practice to deeply moisturise the skin on a weekly basis by applying rich fats to the skin and wearing loose clothing go about your house work for a few hours while allowing the natural ingredients to penetrate the skin and deeply condition and moisturise. Many of our customers with dry, sensitive and mature skin find that this product can be applied daily and is readily absorbed.
Venus of Beauty natural beauty products were developed after several disappointing decades of investing in products that didn’t help my dry sensitive skin. I invested in high end costly products that promised the world & I spent a lot of money trying so many green products that were kind on the environment but not kind to my skin. A few years ago, I cleared everything out of my bathroom cabinet & went back to basics. Using only whole ingredients, preferably cold pressed and favouring natural ingredients that have a shorter shelf life, because nothing lives forever that’s nutritious right? I began to combine my favourite base ingredients & experimented with creating products first on myself and then on my friends. When the positive feedback started flooding in about how problematic skin was soothed, nourished & hydrated with humble beginnings Venus of Beauty products was launched. We are a small team, using only wholesome natural ingredients as nature intended, simplified packaging to be kind to the earth, publishing only honest testimonials from real people. We hope you enjoy our natural nutritious beauty products, may your skin look radiant & you feel amazing. Love the skin you're in! - Francesca
