Profhilo - How does it work?

One of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market, Profhilo not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue.

The most common areas of treatment include the face and neck and can also be used for the décolletage, hands, arms, knees and abdomen area where it would effectively treat skin laxity.

When injected into skin, Profhilo stimulates the skin cell receptors to counteract skin laxity and improve and restore firmness of the skin.

Ultra-pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated. Unlike wrinkle reducing and dermal filler treatments, Profhilo stimulates collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin. During this time, there is stimulation of four different types of collagen and elastin which takes place by slow release of hyaluronic acid.

The treatment is suitable for men and women as well as offering skin benefits for patients of all ages.

What side effects can I expect following treatment?

Most side effects experienced by patients are short-lived and are linked to the injections e.g. pain after treatment, redness, swelling etc which are all temporary side effects.

Those who have medical conditions, such as damaged nerves or muscle complaints, should disclose this information during consultation, to avoid any complications. There is no known risk to those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, but we would advise against having treatment under these circumstances.

Profhilo treatment includes 2 sessions of 1 ml syringes, given 30 days apart.

Face treatment: £275 per session. Total : £550
